Well I have a Compaq precario cq57-489ca

I format the HD to remove win 7 and fix some useless software that was in it and install Ubuntu. After I try it I remove it and put back win 7.

But now I have no internet on it, no cable and no wifi. I when to HP to download the drivers for the wifi and cable/lan and install them. But even after that and following the little instruction (reboot) still no internet. I try to fix the problem but windows don't detect any signal wifi (the wifi wont turn on) so I have download "previous" driver and I will put them on the laptop and install them, but I don't think that it will fix that problem.

I just fix my problem by downloading the first driver so now I have lan/cable.

But I don't remember how to activate the wi-fi. The button on the keyboard show that the wi-fi is not on, I click on it but still no wi-fi.

As stated, please go to Start/Search and type devmgmt.msc and press enter. Please post a Screenshot. In the Device Manager, Expand Network Adapters, if it is not already expanded. Any devices with Yellow Flags need to have drivers installed.
Go to the HP drivers site https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers.../model/5271248 and download the Chipset Driver, install this first. Then download each of the 3 WiFi drivers, (ie) Atheros, Broadcom, and Ralink. if you are not sure which one applies, only the correct one will install. If it is listed in the Device Manager without a yellow flag, there is no need to install the driver. Now download any other drivers you need from Device Manager.
To turn on the Wireless, you press the F12 key with the Wireless icon on it (see attached) Your picture shows it is amber. If your wireless driver is installed, and you have connected to your Wireless Router by typing in your Wireless Pass code, it should turn Blue. https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebo...d/td-p/3993794

Did you go to the Device Manager? Is the WiFi device installed? Are there any yellow flags? If you don't know, post a Screenshot.
If no yellow flags, then go to the WiFi icon in the lower right hand taskbar by the clock (see pictured) click on it and it will show you available networks, click on yours and type your password.

I try but no driver present. I download maybe all the drivers from HP and install them but no wi-fi. For now I use a D-link wireless to get internet on the wi-fi because there is something wrong with the drivers.

Picture one show that there a problem with the network, mostly the wi-fi.

The second picture show you all the drivers from HP that I download. Some are for the Bluetooth but I don't have that. Some are for the lan, other are for the video card and sound card.
