Hi All,
Does anyone know if I'm allowed to install more than one copy of Vista on the same PC, My Vista is the Retail version of Vista Home Premium.
The reason I'm asking this is that I'm not happy with my current set and I would like to reinstall on a new hard drive + I want to set up a lot of other software on my PC, this will take a couple of days to achieve as I don't get a lot of time at home these days due to work commitments but at the same time I need access to my working Hard drive, so it would just be a matter of changing my hard drive (SATA + Power Cable) when needed.

The simple answer is "no" - not unless you have 2 licenses. The only way you can do it is to install the "old" drive as a slave to the "new" one and copy the data you want off it. The actual Vista installation plus a few other pieces of software should only take you a couple of hours.
