Hello,

thanks for reading. Everytime I switch on my pc it pop up this message. The problem is I dont have the installation disc anymore. So I dont know how to repair this. Is there a way to replace or repair the tcpip.sys file without the installation disc ?

This is the message which pop up:

Windows Boot Manager

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:

1. Insert you Windows installation disc and restart your computer
2. Choose your language settings, and the click "Next
3. Click "repair your computer"

File: \Windows\System32\drivers\tcpip.sys
Status: 0xc0000428
Info: Windows cannot verify the digital signature for this file.

At the bottom it says press enter to continue or esc to exit.

Hi -

If Windows came pre-installed on your system, contact the system manufacturer to purchase a replacement Windows OEM DVD. Most charge $20-$30.

If you own a full retail copy of Windows, contact Microsoft for replacement media --> https://support.microsoft.com/kb/326246

Regards. . .
