Hi I hope somebody can help or perhaps somebody is having a similar problem? I am severely dyslexic so use text to speech software to read the text from screen, it somehow uses a copy and paste function to work. I know this because you click paste and it pastes the text you just used it on, I hope you follow… It often works first time but sometimes it's on the 40th or 50th attempt. The same problem if you're just copy and pasting normally. You can probably tell by the way I'm talking I don't know a lot about computers, so reinstalling Windows would be last resort. I would be very grateful for any help or advice, or maybe just recommend some voice recognition software that doesn't use the copy and paste function but as Hot keys. Thank you so much!

You didn't mention what software you are using. If we knew what it was we might be able to help. Have you tired Dragon Naturally Speaking? : Dragon - Dragon NaturallySpeaking - Nuance
If you need to copy and paste use the hotkeys. to copy press CTRL+C to paste use CTRL+V
