My office has a simple p2p network with mainly xp computers. We have a central nas, a server (that doesn't do anything) and several computers attached.

One windows 7 computer is part of this network but can neither see nor be seen by other computers. Workgroup/homegroup are correct, i have set dns, and checked sharing in windows, and in comodo. The nas is a mapped network drive, because windows 7 can access everything after restart, but after 30 min or so it cant reach anything but never loses its internet connection.

If you open up Computer, and watch the network drive, you can watch the little red x rapidly appear and disappear as windows tries but fails to reconnect with the network locations. How do I make it so that her computer will stay 'connected' to the network.

Thanks in advance for you help

check to make sure that your network card is setup properly and that driver and settings are correct.

if you do a cmd then ipconfig the ip ur trying to access and -t
see if those packets drop

Still having issues with this. Like i said on most of the connections its fine after start up, but after an undetermined amount of time the computer will no longer connect to anything on the network.
I got to ipconfig, but im not sure how to do it specifically for any given ip address. All other computers in the office can reach all others just fine. It might be worth mentioning that the computer giving the most problem for the windows 7 machine is running win2k.
