this is what happens when I press the period key: .56-mvxzc
the l key repetitively: l7l79ljl7l79l7l7sad
the o key: oqe or orwqe depending on how long I hold it downm

Does it happen with the on screen keyboard Typing without using the keyboard (On-screen Keyboard) - Windows Help Have you tried going to the laptop makers support pages for your model and reinstalling the driver.

Hi slsp,

Try getting your hands on a spare USB keyboard and connect it to your computer. It's possible that the current keyboard you have has become defective.
