I was running Kingsoft office on my win 7 pc with no problems, then I updated it, now it will not open any of my documents. I have managed to find out that it is not compatible with an app?? installed on pc. Don't know how to fix this can anyone help.
I have tried installing wps on my tablet so I could read my copies of files but wps will not open on the tablet after downloading???????.

Can you open WPS Office at all on your desktop? What about newly created documents?

Thank you for your reply.
WPS will not open at all.
I cannot open any documents created with this program, with wps.
I can open some with the libra office but they are not as good as opening with wps.

Sorry I have 0 experience with WPS but by chance have you tried "Open Office" which should also be available for tablet use. I have never seen issues with it reading other word processing files and it has been around a lot longer.

Try the Free online WPS convert to DOC. https://www.zamzar.com/convert/wps-to-doc/
No need to download and install anything.
If you want a more permanent solution, then as stated, download the Free Open Office or Libre Office

NO there is no sp2 for Windows 7. I have always felt the only free office program worth trying is Open Office

Why not try it?
