Hello all. - I'll keep it simple. - Neighbors laptop- Win 7 64 bit. - Trying to IMPORT contacts from Microsoft Office Outlook into the Microsoft "contacts" folder under the user account on the C drive. - Have already converted the Outlook contacts to .CSV file. - Whe I click "import" tab in the contacts folder, I get the quick blue circle and then nothing. - Clicked 'export' for the hell of it and it does the same. - Any ideas?

What version of Office/Outlook? (eg) 2003, 2007, 2010 etc.
On the other computer choose Export to .pst file. choose just the Contacts folder to export. Then on the computer you are importing, go to Control Panel/Mail/Data Files/Add. Browse to the saved.pst file of the Contacts folder.

Thank you for your reply. Sorry for my late response. She has office 2003. I will be trying your suggestion this morning. - Any ideas why the import button is not working in windows contacts? - Aside from the fact that it's Windows?

Well, that's still not helping me. - I need to export contacts from outlook TO the windows contacts folder and be able to use them from there. I'll add some info that may help. - The whole reason for this is she got a new fax.- it automatically imports all of her contacts from the windows contacts folder. - When trying to import from Outlook to the fax software, it says it is not set as default mail client when it is. So am unable to import that way.
