Do you have more then one HDD?
Go to Start/Search and type diskmgmt.msc, Right click the diskmgmt results and Run As Administrator. In the Elevated Disk Management window in the lower pane, what does it say about Disk2? Please include a screenshot of Disk Management.

You have to scroll down in the Disk Management window, we need to see more of the lower pane. On the lower pane, show the 1TB Doug's Backup Disk#2 K: drive at what is going on with it.
As stated, download the ISO image for Seatools and burn it to CD, or, since this is not the Boot drive with Windows, you can download Seatools for Windows and run the Long test on the the K: drive, if the test fails, the drive needs to be replaced

NDIS/PnP hang on Win7 RTM, fixed in SP1 (and KB977297 for RTM) - 0x9f BSOD
KB 977297 technically isn't public (you won't find it in a google or bing search, so don't bother), but the fix is rolled into SP1 - anyone getting a 1000009f bugcheck on Windows 7 RTM with the first parameter as a "4" and the last parameter as fffff80000b9c4d0 is hitting this. The bugcheck thread...
