In Windows 7 when I check the Auto Play all media option, a dialog box comes up when I log in asking what I want to do about about an external storage unit. What I want to do is exclude it from auto play altogether. I isn't listed as a device, though. So how do I exclude it from auto play?

What is the external storage unit? Is it a USB drive, Card Reader, NAS drive? Is this device listed in Computer? Or Devices and Printers?

OK, what type of connection is it? Firewire, USB, Ethernet? Is it listed in Start/Computer? or is it listed in Start/Devices and Printers?
