Not a lot to go on https://www.microsoft.com/technet/su...10&EvtSrc=DCOM
You can search around these for further info https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=wi...AeHMyAOitqu4Ag
You have not stated if you in fact are having an issue with a program or windows or if you just found the error when looking around the event viewer.

Joeten, noticed this error on event viewer, but no specific problem.
Then later ran sfc/scannow and the corrupted files showed up.

If SFC /scannow said that it could not fix all files, then run SFCFix.exe and then run SFC /scannow again.

You didn't mention running SFCFix.exe . When you run SFC /scannow after fix, does it say there are no violations, or does it say there are files that can't be fixed?

Try SF's first and if it works you won't need to do more.
