I have a .exe file which I have to run in a command prompt window, which converts file types for me. I have a directory of about 1400 files that I need to convert. At the moment, I have to run cmd, go to the converter.exe directory. Type converter.exe -c (to convert) file1.smm file1.wav.
I have to type this about 1400 times over and over.
Does anyone know of any tricks which can input this line over and over, but change the file names to match the names of the files in the directory?

sorry if this don't make sense.

A great deal depends on the command line options of the conversion program. It may have options that help with this issue. I would check this first.
