Question

Recently a friend of mine downloaded Windows 7 Ultimate onto my laptop, everything seems to be fine except for the fact that my laptop has a built-in cam & mic, but no program or whatever is installed. Whenever I try to use my camera or mic, nothing is found. Can someone please tell me how to get something reinstalled or how to fix this please?

You are going to need two things. A driver for the device and an application that can use it.

If you tell us the make and model of the camera and mic we might be able to help you find them,

Cry

it's probably more then what you need, but this is all non-personal information on my computer:

Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_gdr.100226-1909)
Language: English (Regional Setting: English)
System Manufacturer: TOSHIBA
System Model: Satellite L355
BIOS: InsydeH2O Version 2.20
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU T3400 @ 2.16GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.2GHz
Memory: 3072MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 2940MB RAM
Page File: 1154MB used, 4723MB available
Windows Dir: C:\Windows
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
DX Setup Parameters: Not found

I hope this is useful, but all I know about the camera & mic is that they are built in...but for some reason aren't being read as being there....before I installed windows 7, it was working fine, but windows 7 never reinstalled the information or program that it was using.
