Will this RAM be compatible with my Lenovo B50 laptop?

Thanks, but I'm sure that isn't linux compatible. According to what I found from google, PC3 and PC3L can work together and when I tried it, the added RAM was recognized. I just want to make sure it's not doing any harm..

My System


One is Low voltage, the other isn't, you are also mixing Ram of differing timings so it will run at the slower speed of timing.
It is best to use a matching set of Ram sticks.
