how do I tell what type of RAM I have? I know theres DDR2 and DDR3 and stuff...but how do i foind out what i have? i cant find the mothermoard manual

If you know how to get inside, you can physically look at it. It should be marked on it. Do you know what motherboard you have?

You could also download System Information For Windows to learn this and a whole lot of other info about your machine.
