Will WHAT work together?

SD Ram is OLD,,,,,very OLD.
All mobo's in the past five to seven years use DDR ram and the newest ones use DDR2. So far, I've not seen one that uses the really new DDR3 type of ram.

But why are you just guessing? If you can't find the answer on Asus's web site then go to www.crucial.com and take their FREE scan.
They will tell you what you have now, what you can use and how much it will cost. If you mobo will take more ram, you can order it on-line right from the Crucial site. It doesn't get any easier than that.

Do your home work!

Cool

A little Googling goes a long ways, toward answering ones questions.

The Asus web site says about your mobo:

* Intel® Core™2 Extreme / Core™2 Quad / Core™2 Duo Ready
* Support Intel next generation 45nm Multi-Core CPU
* Intel® P45/ICH10R
* Dual-channel DDR2 1200/1066/800/667 Support
* SupremeFX X-Fi 8-CH Audio
* CPU Level Up
* Pin Fin Thermal Module
* Speeding HDD
* VRD11.1 CPU support (backward support VRD10.X CPU)

It plainly says DDR2 ram..... not SD ram.

Again, I suggest a trip to the www.crucial.com website.

happy shopping,

Shadow
