Question

Hi all

I hope someone is able to help me. I have a Dell Precision T1500 with what I believe to be a dead power supply. I am looking for a suitable replacement (350w) however I have heard that Dell have been know to ship machines with propriatary PSUs / Dell specific PSUs and was wondering if that was the case with this machine and if anyone has recommendations for a suitable replacement?

Also, I found this:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Corsair-VS-Series-VS350-350W-Power-Supply/111672456178?epid=11011374276&hash=item1a003273f2:g:q1YAAOSwzhVWp8Oq:rk:6:pf:0

Would that be sufficient?

Thank you for your time :)

This is supposed to be the correct size (not suggesting you buy it) but it has the dimensions if you scroll down the page https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Precisio.../dp/B00QR4WVMI

If your motherboard has standard 24pin and 4/8pin connectors then you can buy any PSU which suits your budget

That may not be the case as it's a small form factor case.

Some OEM models do not use standard ATX connectors, moreso on SFF builds and even some microtowers! Makes it a hassle to get replacement PSUs. One reason why I'll always advocate for a custom build any day.
