I have a HP pavilion 15-ab031tx laptop which has a Samsung 4GB DDR3L 1600Mhz CL 11-11-11-28 ram installed.

As a student, I am now involved in application and game development on a beginner level for android and ios.
For this I am using photoshop, illustrator, virtualbox, android studio and thus
4GB ram is not sufficient.

I am planning to buy additional 8GB of ram for the same purpose. I do not have a fancy budget; around $65 is ok.

I do have some Ram sticks in mind please suggest me of these following which one will be the best and will get a good combination with my existing one.
1.G.Skill F3-1600C11S-8GRSL Notebook RAM Memory

Buy Online | Gskill F3-1600C11S-8GRSL Notebook RAM - Memory | Price in India

2.Corsair 8GB DDR3L CMSO8GX3M1C1600C11

Amazon.in: Buy Corsair 8GB DDR3L Low Voltage 1.35V 1600Mhz Laptop Memory SODIMM (CMSO8GX3M1C1600C11) Online at Low Prices in India | Corsair Reviews & Ratings

3.Kingston Hyperx Impact HX316LS9IB/8

DDR3 SODIMM Kingston HyperX Impact Black 8GB 1866MHz: Amazon.in: Electronics

OF THE ABOVE I PERSONALLY LIKED KINGSTON. PLEASE SUGGEST ME AS IT IS KIND OF URGENT :)

P.S : I LIVE IN INDIA. SO SUGGEST ME A RAM THAT WOULD BE AVAILABLE IN HERE.

Hi and Welcome to TSF!

You aren't going to want to mix 1600MHz memory with 1866MHz memory.

Are you sure your laptop will handle 1 x 8GB stick?

Are you sure you have a 15-ab031tx and not a 15-ab038tx?

If its a 38tx, then look here:

Computer memory and SSD upgrades for HP - Compaq Pavilion 15 Series Pavilion 15-ab038tx from Crucial

I would go with the GSkill which is Micron ram, among the best and the other brands could be made by anyone and to me are way less desirable.
I didn't notice the mix of speeds Chief just noticed and that is not a good idea. Compatibility mixing ram is getting worse and worse with newer hardware. Much better odds buying it all at the same time and therefor definitely should be same speed. You should be able to buy Crucial there Crucial.com - DRAM, solid state drive (SSD) memory upgrades for Dell, Mac, Apple, HP, Compaq, Lenovo, Acer, ASUS and if you buy from them they have a configuarator on the site and guaranty the match to work or money back.

Use the configurator that Rich posted, it will get you matching and working memory.

Oh? We are seeing the opposite here. While I totally agree to ensure compatibility it is best that all installed sticks be identical, manufacturing techniques across the industry has improved so significantly that different brands with the same specs, when controlled by modern memory managers with modern CPUs (which today, have integrated the memory controllers) have much fewer reported problems than they did a few years ago. This is actually why RAM makers no longer need to individually test and pair sticks paired in "dual channel" kits. They just take two sticks off the assembly line and package them together.

That said, until Man can create perfection 100% of the time, I totally agree it is always best to buy all sticks at the same time and have all the installed sticks be identical to ensure the best chances for success.

I note by the HP specs here that notebook supports , "2 SODIMM Slots (Upgradeable to 16 GB by discard)". That said, I don't know what they mean by "discard".

The term Discard in this situation means that in order to achieve 16GB you need to discard the original RAM modules.
