Exclamation

Hi I have 2 questions

1 I just installed a new stick of RAM to my computer
ok when I look before i installed the RAM I had 224MB but the one i've just installed is 512MB and i check again its 256MB why is it so low?

2Today i've installed both a new video card and new 512MB RAM
when i finish installing and turn on my computer it said that my
CPU clock speed had change or something like that
and I need to change it in MMOS or something
how do i do that?

Thank You

My System

You should clear the cmos, unplug the computer and remove the battery for 5 minutes then reinstall. Start the computer and enter bios and load the defaults.

After doing this you will see a checksum error, this is normal and will not appear on the next boot. Now see it the ram is fully recognized.

If you need more help post back with your full system specs

My System

The battery on the motherboard looks like a oversized watch battery.

If this is a custom build the motherboard manual will explain this, if its a brand computer there may be info on there website.

If you post your full system specs or the brand name and model number of the computer that will help

More precisely, how do you permanently remove the icons from the quick launch bar (right side of taskbar, especially) without removing the host program. Yesterday I posted the thread "CPU Overheating - PLEASE Help!" and TKD2 recommended that I try touching my heatsink to see if it was a misread.
