Hiya. Not sure if Im asking this in the right forums, but here goes.

Last night, I tried to install a new Graphics card in my P4 3.2ghz, 1gb Ram.
The card wouldnt go in, so gave up and tried to reinstall the old card.

It went in ok, but when I rebooted on the first screen, it stated I only had 758 mb Memory...??
SO i unplugged everything, reseated the RAM and rebooted and then I suddenly had one long beep that lasted for about 5 seconds, stops and beeps for 5 seconds again.
i have searched on google and it says it a Memory Failure.
But they seemed ok until I started messing around with this other graphics card.

I have taken the sticks of memory out one by one(have 2 512mb) and placed them in different slots, each on seperately, and still nothing.??

What have I done to it??
Thankyou in advance for any help you can give me...

Either it was damaged, or you havent got it seated good enough.
It can take more effort than you think to get ram seated properly.
It may be your video card is not seated in as well. It doenst take
much for either of the two to be not quite seated.
