hey there, first of all it's my very first time to look for a solution to a problem on an online forum so i don't know what should i write about my system. or what do you need to know before helping me out. but i will write my story and if you want to know any thing about my computer thankfully ask me.

Unfortunately,suddenly my hard disk crushed and didn't read so i went to a repair shop to find out the problem they told me that i should buy a new one cuz it's like a fatal problem. so i bought a new 2 tb hard disk and i also bought a new RAM card (8gb) and that guy in the shop told me that it's compatible with your old one(4gb) and can work together giving U a 12gb memory. and indeed it did i can see in system info that i have 12 gb ram (11.5 gb usable). the problem is that i cant feel any difference! it's frustrating. for instance, before the old hard disk crash Fifa 17 (video game) ran smoothly on low settings. i downloaded it again on the new hard disk plus adding the new RAM card, it's running tooo slow even on the lowest settings. like a slow motion gameplay. I tried literally every solution i found on google and youtube, all of them didn't work. so I doubt the new ram or the hard disk cuz they are the only things that were changed ,btw i installed the same windows version that was on my old HD.

Am sorry that I didn't write info about the new RAM card, but i really don't know how to find it out.

excuse my english. and excuse me being a noob in representing my issue. am really sorry but this is my best :)

thanks ;)

Hello and welcome to TSF!

From where did you download Fifa 17? Is Fifa the only task that is slow or is the rest of the system also affected overall? Download Speccy, install and run it, go to its File menu and select Publish Snapshot. A link will be generated, post it here in your next reply.

Hopefully, that is a 64-bit version and not 32-bit.

Those Speccy links are invalid. Make sure you copy and paste them correctly, then test them.

I don't know that game but many are CPU intensive. Also, those that are graphics intensive may be relying on your graphics solution. Meaning, you may not be noticing any difference because for those tasks, the additional RAM may not be making any significant difference.

And yes, your CPU temp is too high. This can be causing it to toggle down in speed to reduce heat. Is the CPU fan spinning? Is the interior clean of heat trapping dust? Did the repair shop do anything to the CPU as far as you know? You never need to replace TIM (thermal interface material) just as a matter of age or routine, but if they removed the heatsink or broke the cured bond between the heatsink and CPU, the old TIM must be thoroughly cleaned and a fresh new application of TIM must be properly applied.

What are the idle temps? What is your ambient (room) temp?

Bill the Speccy links are fine you have to remove the "s" after the "https" once the link opens, it is a problem we are working on since the conversion to https back in February where no link actually posted works unless you use "tiny url".

CPU
Intel Core i3 2120 @ 3.30GHz: 97 C
It's a wonder your CPU hasn't complete shutdown the computer. That is way to hot. The maximum Tcase s 69.1C. Over that temp, the CPU is going to start slowing itself down so that it doesn't start a fire!

You need to find a solution, quick, or risk frying your computer.

BTW, a Core i3 2120 is never going to be fast. It is scraping the bottom of the barrel as far as speed goes.

I'm afraid we can no longer help you with this problem because it involves pirated software (Fifa 17 repack) and it's against forum rules;
