Cannot find memory slot

This is a discussion on Cannot find memory slot within the RAM and Power Supply Support forums, part of the Tech Support Forum category. Have had me E-system3090UK laptop scanned,which tells me I have 2 memory slot,1 is empty. I can see the memory

OS: vista 32bit



Have had me E-system3090UK laptop scanned,which tells me I have 2 memory slot,1 is empty. I can see the memory crd in use but cannot find second empty slot. Thought it might be double slot,but is not.. Where are the memory slots,so that I can upgrade

You most likely will have to remove the keyboard as the second slot is located there.

The slot underneath the laptop may already be occupied.

tHANK YOU FOR PROMPT REPLY.I am not sure how to remove keypad,their is a srew on back of laptop marked K/B have loosened this but still no sign of how to lift keypad.Any advice appreciated

Remove the screw labeled K/B from the back.

You should be able to use a flat blade screwdriver to lift up the kbd.
