I have an Alienware 17 Laptop and the graphics card is reading an error (error 43) and all the stuff I've tried has failed. I've manually updated the driver and have factory reset the laptop. Please help, I'd like to start gaming as soon as possible.

What is the model # of the Dell Alienware 17?
How did you Manually update the driver?
Press the Windows key+X and choose Device Manager. Any devices with yellow flags need to have drivers installed. Expand Display, if nVidia driver has a yellow flag
Go to the Dell Driver Download page for your model https://www.dell.com/support/home/us...17?app=drivers
Click the link to show all Downloads and download the nVidia driver for your model.

8FSTL12 this is the service tag for the laptop. And by manually I mean I went to Nvidia and downloaded the update for my model of graphics card.

I don't see a Nvidia driver listed https://www.dell.com/support/home/en...ydz090/drivers

When I pull up device manager, it comes up under display with a yellow triangle and exclamation point. When booted up in safe mode, it shows up fine, but not anywhere else. It's a GTX 860m

Also, is it possible to replace the battery in a laptop like this? Of so, could someone link a compatible battery to replace the current one with?

The nVidia driver on the Dell Support download drivers page for your model, was specifically written for the video chip in your computer. nVidia may have a newer one on their site, but it may not work, it's always best to download from the Manufacturer's, Dells, Web sit.
Yes you can change the battery, here is a video how

You can open the bottom of the computer and copy the model or serial # from the battery. Or Go to Ebay and type in your make and model # in the search box with the work Battery, https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...ttery&_sacat=0
