Hello,

We come across a lot of speculation on website on Windows server not getting redirected to HTTPS even after having standard valid SSL installed on the server for the site.
But, please make sure that you have a licensed ISAPI_rewrite version installed on the server and that you have SSL installed and port 443 is binded your site.

The below content could help someone in need for the same.

To redirect your site from HTTP to HTTPS you need to write down some codes in a file ".htaccess" and then place it under your root folder of the site.

Following is the code for the same.

********************************
RewriteEngine on

#Fix missing trailing slash char on folders
RewriteRule ^([^.?]+[^.?/])$ $1/ [R,L]

#Redirect non-HTTPS to HTTPS
RewriteCond %{HTTP:Host} (.*)
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} (.*)
RewriteRule .? https://%1%2 [R,L]
*********************************

Once done, browse your site and it works :)

Regards
