Dear Friends,
I need information on how to Create a forum on intranet .. it would be great if someone provides me with step by step information .. in out network... we have windows 2003 Server ( Service pack 2) and Rest computers have Windows XP installed.....

There are lots of forum packages available online. Most of the free ones depend on PHP and MySQL (or PostgreSQL). Open source (I'm pretty sure these are all open source, anyway) options include phpBB3, SMF, bbPress, FluxBB, miniBB, PunBB, Vanilla, and a number of others.

Pick a package and install it. Using your intranet information rather than the information of a public domain should be relatively straightforward. All of the above have multiple tutorials online to guide you through installation and setup.
