Hello,

My computer crashed a while ago; my computer is an eMachine EL1300G. I restored the computer with a restoring disk. However, I just noticed that this disk was from an eMachine T3830. Now, instead of saying "Manufactured and supported by: eMachines EL1300G," it says "Manufactured and supported by: eMachine T3830" (found in the System Properties). Every time I download a driver my computer stops working and the "Microsoft has encountered a problem (error) and needs to close this program" message appears and then my computer crashes again. I was wondering if there is a way I could change this back to an EL1300G, if the Microsoft System Restore will still work even though I rebooted the computer, or any other way I could fix this problem.
