Windows 7 Won't Boot After HD Swap

Dell Latitude e6400 with Windows 7 Ultimate

Removed the original solid state Samsung HD and put in a new San Disk SSD Plus 120 GB. Installed the same Windows 7 Ultimate on that.

Then, put the old HD back in. Computer wouldn't boot. It completes the POST and a few seconds of booting into Windows. Then a blue screen of death for a fraction of a second, and on to a dos screen with 2 options: diagnostic mode or boot Windows normally.

Upon running diagnostics, I receive a Dell hardware error 2000 0411, which is listed as an error with the keyboard back light. Haven't been able to boot with either drive since.
