OS: 64 bit operationg system,x64 based processor



so i'm not sure where to put this but i'm looking to get an m2 drive. supposedly my computer has a port for this. i SAW the port for this actually... cause i looked for it. but there are supposedly different physical sizes. was hoping you guys could tell me what size i need.

We need to know which motherboard is used in the unit you have. The page you linked to doesn't mention anything about the motherboard except for the chipset used. You can manually read the make and model of the motherboard and write it here or you can download, install and run Speccy then publish a snapshot via the File > Publish Snapshot menu and paste the returned url in your next reply.

A lot of desktop motherboards that have an m.2 slot have standoffs for mounting the various m.2 sizes, but 2280 (22mm wide x 80mm long) is arguably the most common size and I bet a 2280 will fit in yours too. Let's not make guesses though, so tell us the make and model of the motherboard in your system.
