I've been using a WD Elements 2TB HDD for quite a while then moved to a new computing running Windows 7. My computer 'lost' my HDD so I went through the steps on the sticky post in this forum about running TestDisk. Afterwards, I could see my HDD listed under 'My Computer' but it kept asking if I wanted to format my HDD (I don't) and that the HDD is corrupted. I went and tried to restore the FAT 32 drive as stated, but that did nothing to solve the problem. It is an NTFS drive. Could someone please help?
