Hello,

I currently have 640gb HDD installed in my system, however I want to install a 128 gb SSD. The SSD would have my OS on it only and all my programs and files would be on the other drive. Would I still be able to access my programs such as my games on the other drive and can I place a shortcut to those programs on the SSD desktop? I am running win 7 x64.

Thank you

Yes, no problem with that. When you install a game or application on to the non-system drive, the shortcuts will still be placed on your desktop and in your programs list above the start orb, just like when you install applications on the system drive.

Be aware that when you choose the non-system drive to install a program or game on, some files will still be written to the Windows folder on the system drive. They will only be small files but they have to be written there otherwise the application won't run.
