Since I got my new laptop with a SSD I have been plagued with files that I download ending up corrupted, some times they never work other times they work for a while and they suddenly go bad. tried downloading em again same problems. what do you guys think could it be my SSD or is it something else?
well I can't find the ssd model numder anywhere. even pulled the dam thing apart. all I got was Samsung K9POGZ8U50-RCKO on the chip. 222 GB which is weird, guessing its really 256 and Asus has a hidden partition.
Jake I went to google "samsung ssd drive diagnostic tool" Found this link give it a try Samsung
Intel has some SSD diagnostics other links are in posts in this very forum if you just use the "search" tool I saw several others. Also you may want to try Intel's SSD tool http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=18455
d/l another file and save it to a external hdd/flash -drive try and play the file from it,,then you will know if its your ssd or not?
