hello there, i was just wondering if there are any SSD sim. programs out there (free preferably) and if so, is it even recomended?

SSD emulator programs emulate the software environment of an SSD. They are generally only useful to software developers, and usually only those working with device drivers. For this purpose they can be very useful. For the average computer user they are of no use.

You can find such emulators with an Internet search.

That is the only form of SSD emulator I am familiar with. If you are thinking of something else you will need to explain more fully.

well i was thinking that since a SSD is much faster to boot a operating system on, i could try a SSD emulator/simulator, or other program that helps with boot up speed

Sorry, but there is no SSD or any other kind of emulator that will improve boot time. The only thing that is going to provide the performance of an SSD is a real hardware SSD.
