Greetings,
Im sad to say that i have a rather major problem with my harddrives right now.
One of my harddrives went into 'raw' value and just started showing the message: 'Operating system is missing'.
It might be best if i explained the situation a bit on how it happend and what my harddrives are:
Yesterday evening i was just watching some movies on youtube and just turned off the computer like i always do, all of this happend without any problems (there were no weird setups or messages appearent or anything like that).
Today i turned on my computer to start playing some games when i noticed that there was this rather irritating message on my screen saying: 'Operating system is missing'. Ofcourse this threw me into a state of confusion and frustration.
Not being a stranger to computer technical related problems, i started trying a couple of things and browsing the net for solutions to this problem, but so far none of my attempts have been successful to say the least.
I am now at the point where i turn my problem to you guys in hope that you might have an answer and/or solution for my problem.
To summerise my problem:
My harddrives are 2 Samsung models: HD103SJ (1TB) in raidmode and one of them just started showing up with the 'raw' value and is not able in being formatted and what so ever. Obviously my pc is not starting up beyond the message: 'Operating system is missing'. I am running a Windows 7 operating system.
If you need more information (wich is likely) then dont hesitate to ask, i will be keeping close tabs on this thread obviously.
I thank you all in advance for the help or possible help that one might have to offer for me.
Regards,
Jim
