Ok since you will be installing the OS on 2 different drives you will have to Edit the Boot.ini file to look for both OS
it was on one drive then you did not have to
It is safe to do that as well just that you have to edit the boot.ini
Thanks but how do I do that? Computer would not work on any system after the Win 7 installation but I managed to start -XP. Scary.
Please advise :4-dontkno

Dimitri you need to be more specific about what is the issue
Computer would not start? what error messages you got?
How did you manage to get into windows?
ray:Hi. Well, after almost completed win 7 installation the system wouldn´t start on any OS, I just got the error message "BOOTMGR compressed" or something like that. I managed to start my XP with the OS install disk (run command FIXBOOT)and learned that the BOOT.INI file had to be modified. Luckyly the job was done with an amazing freeware EasyBCD that I strongly recommend to all "Duallers". Now at boot I have a menu to choose OS. Fantastic. Win 7 is cool. Thanks for the help guys and Ioda. What would I do without you?
