Hey everyone, hopefully one of you can help me out.
I have a computer here that I was working on to try to back up for a friend. Their windows install was very unstable, so I used EaseUS partition manager to make a new partition so I could install a fresh copy of windows, copy the files over, and then make the drive one large partition again.
As luck would have it, the computer shut itself off at some point during the partitioning process... and now it refuses to boot in to windows (not even safe mode), chkdsk freezes at 74% complete in stage 1 (hard drive plugged into another computer to do that), and I'm now at a loss of what to do.
Any suggestions would be great, as there were some important documents and photos on the drive.
Thanks.
