My System


No, you can create a Software RAID on two or more drives attached to the SATA controllers on any computer
If you have a hardware RAID controller, you would be asked at bootup to press a key combination to enter the RAID control panel where you can create a RAID, check on the Arrays health or Rebuild an Array.
If no key combo is pushed, it will boot normally to the boot drive.
