Redistributing free space in Partition Magic Pro 8

I just re-distribute free space between my two partitions..D:/ and E:/ drives...It transfered 5 gb from D: drive to E: drive..and wen i applied de changes..
I can't access my e: drive whos current capacity is 13 gb after space redistribution..I check its format from properties.it shows RAW format..and it gives error like..format ur hard drive.!!

but in partiton magic pro it shows exact amout of space used, file, directories and FAT32 filesystem..!
i dunt know wats de problem

i cant open dat drive..plz help me..

and yeah wud converting de filesystem thru partition magic..wil lost all of my data?

That's why you should never ignore the warning in PM that tells you to backup before doing such changes.

Backup is important to do any operations.

A corrupt or missing boot sector will cause such kind of problem with the following indicates:

*Invalid media type reading drive.

*Abort, Retry, Fail?

*File system is displayed as "RAW".

*Windows may ask if you want to format the drive, such as warning "disk not formatted. Do you want to format now?"

*File names contain "weird" characters.

"Sector not found" messages.

To fix the boot sector, you may refer to

If it still cannot be solved, you have to recover all the data out and then format the partition as the system indicates so that you can enter the partition again.
