My System

I have two additional hard disks connected to my 915GAV mobo using a PCI IDE card. the problem is that the secondary disk connected suddenly becomes inaccessable where as the primary disk has no such problem. To get the disk back I have to disconnect and then reconnect the data cable from the PCI card. usually this is to be carried almost everyday.

Please help.

Tried using IDE to SATA converter available on EBAY but some how it didnt work at all. think I am doing something wrong somewhere. some help on this matter as well will b appreciated.
Sorry forgot to add that there is one 120GB sata h/d connected and the two additional hard disks r IDE hard disks with primary h/d having 120GB capacity and the secondary h/d is 80GB.

Hi,

Are you sure you don't have a bad IDE ribbon cable? I know they can look fine, but I would change that cable first. Make sure you are using the 80 connector cable and not an older 40 connector cable.
