Hi, I'm sorry in advance for my bad english.

For years, I created images of my primary partition (with OS and software) by Paragon Drive Backup (bootable version).

Today I don't able to do this because in the middle of backup, Drive Backup stop the copy and tell me that "error I/O".

I do a scan of file system with Paragon Partition Manager utility (bootable version) and it tell me that "mft record 0xe124 is unreadable".

I proved to repair it with TestDisk utility but it tell me that "... ntfslib is missing".

CrystalDiskInfo tell me that healt status is on "caution" because "c5 current pending sector count" is yellow.

I don't know how I can solve the problem. I want at least create a image of primary partition.

Thanks in advance for your help.

It appears that the hard drive is failing and will need to be replaced. When the drive does a write to the disk and an error occurs it silently replaces the bad sector with a spare. These spares are limited in number. When the number is too high you will see the error mentioned.
