do you have a floppy drive? you will need to download the sata drivers for your motherboard and put them on a floppy. make sure you hook your sata hdd on sata #1.

then you will need to boot the computer to the windows xp cd. there will be a message saying "press F6 to install......." press F6 and assuming you put the floppy disk that contained the sata drivers inside the floppy drive, make sure to choose the floppy as a destination.

then the computer should detect the drivers and install the sata drivers. then the computer should recognize your hdd. using norton clone cd would be good.

will the hdd search for the drivers off of the floppy or do i have to manually move them. I have two folders first isBoot Drivers with files 964.Sata, 965Sata and second Drivers with files e100bnt.sy_ ,e1000nt4.sy_ ,IANSNT4n.sy_ which are the ones i need install if manually is required.
