Yes it has a model number on the HDD sticker STST960821A ? Yes its is IDE/PATA it has 2 rows of pins. I am guessing you know the difference between a SATA connector and PATA ? Any one of the manufacturers will work WD or Seagate Hitachi .... etc
yeah that is the model number, can you recommend where to get one? There doesn't seem to be much choice on newegg and tigerdirect for PATA hard drives.
This happens to all older hardware ram same story new egg has a WD 80gb for 59.99 just did a search for pata 2.5 and found several for sale
