ok heres the story...
i have partitioned 60 gig hard drive (C:/ and D:/) before i reinstalled windows xp on my computer. Then i deleted drive D so i will get bigger space on my hard drive. i succesfully installed a fresh xp but my hard drive space went half instead of 60 gig. D drive was deleted but i cant use the disk space he left.
anyone knows how to fix it?

You will have to delete c and d. Then create one 'c'. Then re-install. Deleting the d partition does not give c the remaining space.

So in short if you want the 'whole' drive, you will have to backup data files and start over. Delete all partitions on the drive and then create a new one using the entire drive...

You may be able to reformat d: with partiontion magic then you can join the partitions also with partition magic. Powerquest used to license partition magic but now Norton has bought it so you can buy it from their site.
