Hi all,

I'm currently looking at hooking up the 4 WD Caviar 200GB S-ATA drives I have in a RAID 5 setup. Has anyone got any suggestions on a controller card suitable for this? So far all I can find is 2-port S-ATA compatible or 4-port P-ATA only. I'm not really wanting to hack the Windows software RAID in XP to allow RAID 5 as I've heard from numerous sources it's not especially well implemented (considering it's a hack anyway, that's hardly surprising though).

Cheers!

Here's a list to select from, not exactly cheap.

Edit: got the wrong search string the first time.

Interesting that one didn't show up when I did a search on Pricewatch, but it does if I do a specific search for that model. I guess their search isn't perfect. :) Seems to be right around the starting point of the other controllers: https://castle.pricewatch.com/s/searc...tTrak+S150+SX4

Excellent, exactly what I was looking for (was kinda surprised the price was that low though - oh well, can't really complain)

All I need to do is find somewhere in the UK that actually sells the damn things now!

Cheers!

UK, that will probably double the price!
