With VERY minimal knowledge, I have managed to build myself a computer (with friends dropping by for any scope of work outside my technical ability.) I have the 2 following components that I need to install:

1. Intel X25-M SSDSA2MH120G2K5 2.5" 120GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

2. Western Digital Caviar Black WD1501FASS 1.5TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive

A friend advised that I consult some techs with my specifications to see if there are any glaring incompatibilities. I am running Windows 7 home and I understand that I need to reinstall windows and all of my applications. Windows and apps will be on the SSD and all my files will be on the HD.

Any thoughts or concerns? I thank you in advance for the feedback.

My build:

GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 Yorkfield 2.83GHz 12MB L2 Cache LGA 775 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor BX80569Q9550

EVGA 896-P3-1257-AR GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 Superclocked Edition 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI Express

ZALMAN CNPS 9700 NT 110mm 2 Ball Ultra Quiet CPU Cooler

CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V v2.2 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Compatible with Core i7 Power Supply

(Forgot what kind of RAM, if deemed necessary, I will post when I get home.)

------
I am open to swapping out the pieces above - I am always looking to decrease my render times.

Thank you.
