Hey guys, sorry if i have posted this is the wrong section, wasn't sure where to put it.
Anyway, I haven't backed up my hard drive in a couple of months now so i decided to get out my 1TB external hard drive to back up all my stuff.
So i plug it into the wall and the very second the USB cable from the external hard drive touches my USB port, the monitor loses input, the keyboard and mouse LED's turn off and my computer becomes unresponsive. The only things that stay on from what i can see are the fans and the LED's from my GPU.
What is going on here?
External HDD: Buffalo Drivestation USB 2.0 1TB HDD
Thanks for your help guys.
