Hi.
I bought an external hard drive last year, it was working fine until now.
When I plug it in, the light is solid and the EHD makes noises.
It doesn't appear in my computer.
The EHD is Apacer AC202, I'm using Win7.
Is it possible to fix this issue?

a HDD that makes noise is a bad sign, it means the HDD has failed never to return. You can try removing the HDD from the enclosure and either attaching it Internally to a Desktop computer, Via a USB Adapter or put it in another USB Enclosure with a power adapter. If it still makes noise, then it has failed. Your only other alternative would be to send it to very, very expensive Data Recovery Specialists.
