Is my 2 year old WD 320 SATA hard drive going bad?
I was using the computer this morning when it froze and then gave me a BSOD with "A problem was detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage" message with a stop error code: 0x000000F4.
When I tried to reboot, I got an error message saying that I need to select a boot device.
I went into the bios and selected my internal main hard drive and then rebooted with no problem.
Is this an indication that the drive may be starting to fail?
I went to Event Viewer and found these two events at the time of the crash. Could this further indicate that the drive is going bad?

Thanks for the suggestions. I have already tried Seatools and WD's diagnostic tools (Extended Test, both DOS and Windows versions)...nothing. All diagnostic test come up clean with no errors.
Kind of stumped.
Probably worth testing your memory . . click on the link to Memtest in my signature . . let it run on one stick at a time overnite or until it starts reporting errors
no more bsod, however, I contacted WD and they have sent out a free replacement so hopefully this problem is in the past.
