Thank you for your reply. I tried looking at this article. My computer will not let me do anything it says. Everytime I try it goes back to the same blue screen error. When I called Dell for support, they just said they are sending me another hard drive????????? Does this mean that I am going to lose all my info once again? I had an HP for years and was fine with it. I was talked into this Dell and have had nothing but problems. But instead of Dell excepting it back to fix, they want me to stay on the phone for hours (which I do not have that time to spend) to end up with the same problem. It is an Inspiron 1501 running Windows XP Home. Can't get past blue screen to tell you anymore info on it. Sorry.
