hey ive had some computer problems before but most were resolved from a factory restore

im not very good with computers but ive got a alienware lapop either mx17 or 18, whenever i turn it on it tooks a tad long to load and then it says start with system repair or start windows normally.

if i pick system repair then the windows loading screen background come up and the mouse is visible but nothing else

if i pick normally it will take another 2 minutes then a blue screen pops up for less then a second it pretty much flashes then it freezes on a black screen

i tried putting the reboot disk in but now i dont even know how to get it out lol

cannot log in any way, not even with safe mode or cmd

please help

Hi mitchellD,

Try scanning your computer hard drive for any errors. It's possible that your problem could be hardware related(e.g. hard drive going bad). Do this, download "Seatools" and put the program onto a bootable media(e.g. USB flash drive or CD). Boot the computer to the diagnostics utility, follow the on-screen instructions, and scan your computer hard drive for any errors.

Here is the link to Seatools: SeaTools | Seagate

Hope everything works out well for you. Please provide an update when you can, thank you.
