Bios-hard drive

Just set them to auto-detect, that's what they should have come from the factory set to.

Mistake

Johnwill, Thank you. I found out the reason for my drive not showing----It died. Now for my new problem--My new boot drive shows up as slave. I have tried every, or most all that I can covering the little pins on the drive for master and nothing. It is connected to the mother board all by it self. any idea ?? Ruth

Speedo, Thank you so much, but I finally figured it out my self. I have cable select and I was trying to put the drive as just a master and realized I needed the cable select setting on the jumpers. If I give my self a little time, I finally get it. Thank's again. Ruth
